The window between March and May is when an AC tune-up delivers the most value in the desert. A system that's been sitting since October needs to be verified and ready before the first 100°F week arrives — and in Las Vegas, that week can arrive as early as May. A system that fails its first startup of the season in late April can often be repaired and running within a day. The same failure on July 4th means competing with every other system that chose that day to fail, with a valley full of technicians already stretched thin.

Electrical component inspection and testing
Capacitors and contactors are the most common failure points in Las Vegas AC systems, and both are verifiable before they fail completely. A technician should test capacitor microfarad readings against specifications and visually inspect the contactor for pitting or burning.
